Murkiernode is an independent recording studio in Westerpark. Since 2019 we offer recording, mixing, mastering and podcast work by appointment. Read more about our rooms and team on about us and services.

Content on murkiernode.click explains our services and workflow. Prices on the site are guide prices incl. 21% VAT; the binding amount is in your written quote. See article 5 of the terms and conditions.

4. Hosting and technical services

The website and related email are hosted by TransIP B.V., Vondellaan 47, 2332 AA Leiden, Netherlands. Further information: transip.nl.

Server logs may contain IP addresses and technical metadata for security; see the privacy policy. We do not use advertising cookies; cookie choices are stored locally under key mrkr_consent_v1 for 182 days — details in the cookie policy.

5. Contact form (FormSubmit)

The form on contact is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a service operated from the United States. When you submit, your name, email address, optional phone number and message may briefly be processed outside the European Economic Area.

We use FormSubmit to deliver your request to our mailbox. To avoid that route, email or call us directly via [email protected] or +31 (0)20 214 18 52. Legal bases and retention are in the privacy policy.

6. Intellectual property of the site

Texts, layout, the Murkiernode word mark and other site elements are protected by copyright and trade mark law unless stated otherwise. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Republication or commercial reuse without our written permission is not allowed.

Photographs on the site are illustrative and generated with artificial intelligence; see also the footer and disclaimer. Equipment and platform brand names belong to their owners.

7. Services and rates (overview)

We offer vocal recording, band recording (up to 6 musicians at once), mixing, mastering and podcast and voice-over. Example rates incl. VAT:

• Vocal recording — from €89 per studio hour
• Band recording — from €385 per half day
• Mixing — €245 per track
• Mastering — €75 per single
• Podcast and voice-over — €95 per studio recording hour

8. Applicable law and disputes

Contracts with Murkiernode B.V. are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Consumers in the EU keep mandatory rights of their country of residence where applicable law requires.

We prefer to resolve complaints by mutual agreement. If that fails, disputes may be brought before the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer law allows another forum. The EU online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; we are not obliged to use an alternative dispute body unless we offer that separately in writing.
